About Tempogrid

Cantrai's owners were looking for an easy-to-use journal to keep track of home, family and business milestones. Between renovations and school concerts and the decisions that shape a company, the details were being scattered across notebooks, phone notes, photo libraries and email — and none of it was easy to find a year later.

Everything they tried was either a heavyweight notes app that needed constant tending, or a pretty diary that assumed you'd sit down every evening and type. What they wanted was simpler: one private page for every day, something that would let you talk instead of type when your hands were full, and a way to get the whole thing back out again as a document you own.

So they built it. Tempogrid gives every day its own page, transcribes what you say, asks you a few questions when you don't know where to start, and keeps a bucket list beside your entries so the things you mean to do stay in view. Export a day, a week or the entire diary as a PDF or plain text whenever you like.
